‘Delhi lockdown extended by a week till May 17’: CM Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said the ongoing lockdown in Delhi will be extended for another week up to May 17 morning and Metro train services will be halted during the period. He said Covid cases have come down in the last few days, but any slackness would squander the gains achieved so far in the current wave of the pandemic. Kejriwal said, “In the last 2-3 days, the positivity rate has come down to 23 per cent from 35 per cent.” He added, “We used the lockdown period to boost our medical infrastructure & to increase oxygen beds at various locations. The oxygen situation has improved in Delhi.” Watch the full video for more.
