Migrants’ exodus: Government’s damage control

The mass exodus of migrant workers from Delhi to their hometowns due to the Covid-19-induced lockdown has caught the Central as well as the state governments off-guard. The Centre has announced a three-pronged strategy to take care of these workers' immediate needs.
