Watch: Huge crowd in UP's Badaun for religious leader's funeral amid Covid

A massive crowd was seen in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun amid the Covid wave and curfew. Huge crowd descended on streets for a funeral procession of a local religious leader. Abdul Hameed Saleem Ul Qadri died in Badaun on May 9, 2021. Qadri was reportedly revered by people of all faiths. No distancing was maintained by the participants and it is unclear how many wore masks. Uttar Pradesh is currently under 'corona curfew' till May 17. Police reportedly filed a case over the crowded event. Unidentified persons have been reportedly booked under various sections. Watch the full video for more.
