Faans inspired from the life of Sarabjit

Sensational news has always been the source of inspiration for Bollywood filmmakers. And now the real life story of Sarabjit Singh has inspired director Avdhesh Chitransh. Faans is a film based on the life of a spy girl. As noted by Chitransh this is first time that a film based on a spy is being produced in India. Shiva, an actress of Tamil movies, is playing the lead role in film, which incidentally marks her debut in Hindi films.
