Salim Merchant on royalty controversy: ‘No bad blood with Yash Raj Films’

Composer and singer Salim Merchant opened up about life in lockdown, the trend of remixes in the music industry and the controversy about artistes not being paid royalties. When asked about accusing two big players of the music industry of pocketing royalties, he clarified, “I never said anything like that. I don't know who picked it up, I don't know who wrote it.” He added that there was no bad blood between him and the labels in question.
