Sushant’s life insurance policy reports: Family lawyer rejects claims

Vikas Singh, lawyer of the family of Sushant Singh Rajput addressed a media briefing regarding recent reports about the late actor's alleged life insurance policy. The lawyer said that it was being alleged in certain sections of the media that Sushant had a life insurance policy whose payout would be stopped if the cause of death was suicide. He claimed that all such reports were false as the late actor had no life insurance. He also threatened to sue news organisations in case 'defamatory canards' against the family continued. Singh also commented on reports regarding Sushant's medications and prescriptions. Sushant was found dead at his Mumbai residence on June 14. His father accused his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty of abetting his suicide and siphoning off his assets. The case was initially being probed by Mumbai Police but was later handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation - a move upheld by the Supreme Court. The CBI investigation team is camping in Mumbai and has questioned Rhea for multiple consecutive days. Watch the full video for more.
