The Zoya Factor offers feel-good vibes with Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan
An adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's novel by the same name, The Zoya Factor, starring Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan as lead characters, explores a world that is unreal yet director Abhishek Sharma tries to make it look believable. A story of a girl who is considered a lucky charm for cricket and how things change when she starts dating the team's captain pretty much sums up the storyline. While Sonam's character is no revelation and is similar to how she is off the camera, it's Dulquer who steals the show and is clearly the star in the film. Supporting actors including Angad Bedi, Sikandar Kher and Sanjay Kapoor make their presence felt and there are quite a few comic punches to catch during the running commentary in the cricket stadium. A family entertainer that you can watch if you have passion for cricket and if you can stand chick flicks.
