It took eleven years and four nominations in the best actor category before Leonardo DiCaprio could realise his Oscar dream. The reward for patience they say is sweet but for DiCaprio, it's more than just that. The prestigious award slipped away three times before he nailed it this year for his performance in The Revenant. Previously he was nominated in 2005, 2007, 2014 in the best actor category for The Aviator, Blood Diamond and The Wolf of Wall Street. He also won a nomination in the best supporting actor category in 1994 for What's Eating Gilbert Grape.
