‘Liverpool showed us the way’: Spurs react to comeback against Ajax

Spurs made an astonishing comeback to beat Ajax 3-2 in the Champions League semi-final. The Brazilian forward Lucas Moura's hattrick gave Spurs the edge after they were 2-0 down at half-time. Tottenham Hotspur beat the Dutch side 3-2 on the night and 3-3 on aggregate making their way to the finals through away goal rule. Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris said that Liverpool's comeback against Barcelona inspired them. “Of course, of course. The best moment in my career, for sure. And the last minute… we needed to try and I was there and the ball came to me and I only could shoot the ball and when I saw that it was goal… my friend, it's unbelievable, it's impossible to explain the feeling. Everyone deserves this moment,” said Lucas Moura.
