After Jallikattu, people protest ban on buffalo racing, Kambala

Amid the raging protests over Jallikattu in Tamil Nadu, organisers of 'Kambala' (buffalo race) in Karnataka on Friday conducted the traditional sport in violation of court orders, restraining the same. Meanwhile, people staged a protest in Hubli, demanding the ban on Kambala to be revoked. Kambala is a traditional annual buffalo race conducted in marshy fields in coastal districts of Karnataka.
