BJP stalwart Arun Jaitley cremated at Nigambodh Ghat with state honours

Former Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party stalwart, Arun Jaitley, was cremated with state honours on Sunday. His final rites were conducted at Nigambodh Ghat in New Delhi. He was one of the most prominent faces among BJP's current leaders. Before the funeral, his remains were kept at BJP's headquarters in Delhi where family, friends, and senior politicians paid their last respects. PM Modi, who is on a foreign tour, said he lost a valued friend. Jaitley passed away at the age of 66 on August 24.
