ISRO chairman said 'Chandrayaan 2' will reach moon's orbit on August 20. Dr K Sivan informed that the spacecraft will leave the earth's orbit after two days. He said, “We have planned to have a series of manoeuvres around the moon. On September 7, we will be landing on the moon near its south pole.” Chandrayaan 2 sent back its first images of Earth, two weeks after it was launched. The photographs were taken on August 3, 2019.
