Indian Coast Guard rescues endangered Olive Ridley Turtle

Indian Coast Guard saved an endangered Olive Ridley Turtle. The rescue mission was carried out along the maritime boundary with Pakistan. The Olive Ridley Turtle had gotten entangled in nets. Coast Guard officials set the turtle free and released it into the Arabian Sea. “In an unique Rescue Operation #CoastGuard Ship rescued a worldwide Vulnerable & Endangered #OliveRidleyTurtle entangled in a net at sea off Indo-Pak #MaritimeBoundaryLine & released her into the sea,” the Indian Coast Guard tweeted.
