A partial lunar eclipse will be visible in India on the night of July 16 and 17. Partial lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth moves between the Sun and Moon but the three do not form a straight line. When that happens, a part of the Moon's surface is covered by the central part of the Earth's shadow.
