‘No role for third party’: India rejects Trump’s 7th mediation offer on J&K

The Indian government responded to US President Donald Trump's offer to mediate on the Jammu and Kashmir issue. New Delhi repeated that there was no role for any 'third party' in the dispute between India and Pakistan, emphatically rejecting Trump's seventh mediation bid. The US President had made the comments while he was meeting the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos. Khan had said that no country but the United States can help resolve the issue.
