PM Modi explained situation; want to talk to locals: EU lawmaker on J&K visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met a delegation of Members of European Parliament (MEPs) a day ahead of their visit to Jammu and Kashmir. BN Dunn, a member of the delegation, said that the Prime Minister, among others, had explained the situation in the region to the visitors. Dunn said he wanted to talk to locals and see the situation on the ground in the erstwhile state. Addressing the lawmakers, PM Modi had sought 'urgent action' against supporters and sponsors of terrorism.
