India's Sukhoi 30 fighter jet flew a sortie with French air force's Rafale and Mirage 2000 aircraft during a joint exercise at the Mont-de-Marsan air base. An Indian Air Force delegation is in France to take part in the sixth edition of the 'Garuda' exercise. India is buying 36 Rafale fighter aircraft from France's Dassault Aviation. The first jet is expected to be delivered to the Indian Air Force by September 2019. The Sukhoi 30 jets played a key role in IAF's air strike on terror camps in Balakot in February 2019.
