At least 10 soldiers were killed and 14 others were wounded on Saturday when their vehicle ran over a landmine near Srinagar. No militant group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack which came ahead of the India-Pakistan peace talks. The Kashmiri separatist militants oppose this new round of 'peace talks' which is to take place on Monday. Violence involving Indian troops and separatist militants has declined since a peace process began in 2004.
