Afghan Prez in India to strengthen ties

Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai was given a formal reception in the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan, the residence of the president on Monday, a day after his arrival in New Delhi for a two-day visit. Karzai is expected to have wide-ranging talks with the Indian leadership on issues of bilateral, regional and international interest to both countries. The talks are expected to focus on the security of Indian assets and Indian workers in Afghanistan.
