Air Deccan seeks approval for foreign crew (the video is loading, may take long. Please bear with us...)

Air Deccan, which is eligible to fly abroad from August 26, has sought the government's permission for hiring foreign cabin crew. Kingfisher had earlier applied for a similar permission with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation or DGCA. But since the airline was not eligible to fly abroad, it was not granted approval. However, now with Kingfisher all set to fly abroad on Deccan's licence, they have decided to apply for a foreign cabin crew under the latter's name .Currently, Jet and Air India are allowed to hire expat cabin crew as they fly abroad.
