An all women folk band from Punjab is mesmerizing audiences in the country and abroad. Age-old instruments - Sarangi, Ek-tara, Matka, Chimta and the snake charmer's flute are brought alive by the nimble fingers of this all-women folk band. It is a step in the forward direction to revive beautiful folk traditions. The dozen odd girls from DAV college, Amritsar play almost 30 instruments. They have proved that no instrument is 'too' tough to have a go at.
