Annual pilgrimage drives livelihood of locals in J&K

The annual pilgrimage to Amarnath Yatra is undertaken by hundreds of thousands of Hindus from across India in summer. This pilgrimage comes as a boon for a lot of locals in Jammu & Kashmir to augment their incomes. People living in hill resorts enroute the holy cave shrine, wait eagerly every year for the two month long pilgrimage.
