BJP seeks early confidence vote

Bharatiya Janata party on Tuesday stepped up their stake after the Left allies of the coalition government withdrew their support. After the support withdrawal senior leader of BJP, Lal Krishna Advani said that the government should seek a confidence vote in Parliament as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the ruling allies are confident of weathering the storm and the government would not fall.
