Bofors scandal resurfaces

Nearly 25 years after Bofors scam surfaced, the whistleblower who provided leads in the payoffs case has revealed his identity in an interview to a media outlet. Swedish Police Chief Sten Lindstrom operating under the pseudonym 'Swedish Deep Throat' stated that the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi though was not involved in the scam but watched the massive 'cover-up' between the two nations and 'did nothing'.
