Chidambaram terms Maoists as anti-development forces

Home minister P Chidambaram, while attending a seminar on 'Development Problems of Regions Affected by Discontent and Extremism' held in New Delhi, on Monday termed the Maoists as anti-development forces. Chidambaram giving an account of the number of schools and roads destroyed by the rebels said that they don't want the backward regions to be developed.
