Congress is pro-commoners: Sonia

Addressing the national meet of All India Congress Seva Dal in New Delhi, Sonia Gandhi, president of Congress party, said that her organisation has always been for the well being of the commoners. Mahatma Gandhi initially mooted Seva Dal during the independence movement. These days, the objective of Seva Dal is to propagate the Gandhian ideals on behalf of the Congress party. Congress won the general polls last year riding on a plank of 'common man'.
