Connectivity to be strengthened in Maoists areas: Sachin Pilot

Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Sachin Pilot has said the government plans to invest more in cellular services in the Maoist-affected areas to plug the communication gap. While addressing media persons on Saturday in Pune, on the sidelines of his daylong visit to assess BSNL's operations in western Maharashtra, Pilot said the Maoist threat to blow up the towers should not deter telecom companies.
