CVC asks CBI to probe coal block allocations since 1993

The Central Vigilence Commission has today asked the CBI to probe all coal block allocations since 1993. This development could be a major setback to the BJP, which has been demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, since the NDA government was in power from 1993 to 2004.
