Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Azam Khan hit out at PM Narendra Modi on Monday, saying his silence has harmed the state while appealing him to stop and control his volunteers from spreading communalism and violence. Khan also plans to raise the issue of the lynching of a Muslim man in Bisada village at the United Nations. He also added that the Dadri incident is no less than the demolition of Babri Masjid in 1992, adding the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have declared that they will create a Hindu Rashtra. A mob attacked 50-year-old Mohammad Ikhlaq's house on September 28 in UP's Bisada village, accusing the family of butchering a calf. It lynched Ikhlaq and left his younger son Danish, 22, critically injured. Danish, who has undergone two surgeries, is still not out of danger.
