Delhi cold hits new low, season’s lowest at 2.7 degrees Celsius

The minimum temperature in New Delhi dropped to 2.7 degrees Celsius on Friday, the season's lowest and four notches below average. Severe cold wave has gripped northern India, adding to the woes of the people, as rail and road traffic has been disrupted due to dense fog and poor visibility.
