Delhi continues to shiver

People in Delhi continue to beat the chill as biting cold wave intensified. The worst hit are the poorer sections of the society, who are trying to escape the cold by lighting up bonfires on the roads. The livelihood of Auto-Rickshaw drivers is also hit. Meanwhile a local, Durga Prasad complained that state government is not paying any heed to their plight. The woes of Delhites may increase as the Met department has predicted that the minimum temperature in most part of the northern India is likely to remain 2 to 3 degrees Celsius below normal, and the mercury would continue to dip.
