Endangered primates find a home in Umananda temple

The endangered Golden Langur, a rare species of primates find themselves a shelter in Umananda temple in Assam. Umananda temple situated in the Peacock Island in Guwahati has off late emerged as a major tourist attraction. Tourists from far-flung areas come to catch a glimpse of the unique and rare golden langurs. The primates who have made the temple compound as their little territory and don't feel disturbed with greater influx of devotees.
