Fire in Mumbai's industrial area

A major fire broke out in an industrial area housing chemical units in Mumbai's suburban area of Malad. According to the police, there have been no reports of injuries so far. The cause of the fire is not yet known. Fifteen fire engines and five jumbo tankers had been dispatched to control the fire. Ambulances also had been rushed to the spot. There are about 1200 small-scale units in the industrial area, of which around 50 units were affected in the fire.
