Flop show for TMC's no-confidence motion

The much talked about Trinamool Congress' no-confidence motion against the UPA government was rejected by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar on Thursday after the party failed to gather the required 50 MPs to force the issue. The motion was rejected by the Speaker soon after the house was reconvened after an adjournment at 12.30pm on the first day of the Parliament's Winter Session.
