FM tables white paper on black money

Union finance minister Pranab Mukherjee today tabled a White Paper on black money in the Lok Sabha, providing information on the wealth that is stashed abroad. The white paper also focused on bullion, gold jewellery and the real estate sector and recommended more transparency in land dealings and regularisation of property registration. The opposition, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has been accusing the government of going slow on the black money probe.
