Ghevar adorn shops ahead of Teej

Traditional sweets known as Ghevar adorn shops in Jaipur to welcome the popular monsoon festival of Teej. Teej, the swing festival heralding the onset of monsoon falls in the Lunar month of Shravan, which brings rainy relief to the people. With Teej, comes the traditional Indian sweet "Ghevar", which not only caters to the taste buds of sweet lovers but also has a traditional role to play.
