Govt cancels Adani's 1,840-hectare SEZ in Gujarat

In a major blow to Narendra Modi-led Gujarat government, the Centre has decided to withdraw permission to the Adani Group for a 1,840-hectare special economic zone (SEZ) in Mundra. According to media reports the permission was withdrawn because the land was not contiguous.
