Govt to infuse $1.1 bn into Air India

India's aviation minister Praful Patel said on Wednesday that the government would infuse 1.1 billion dollars in the national carrier, Air India. Air India has been struggling after it posted an $875 million loss in the fiscal year ended March and sought a government bailout.
