Homage to soldiers killed in avalanche

The Indian army on Saturday paid homage to 16 soldiers, who lost their lives, after a massive avalanche struck Jammu and Kashmir. The army post of Sonmarg was severely hit along with Gurez, where another 14 soldiers were killed in the snow-propelled avalanche. Meanwhile, with the recovery of one more body of a missing soldier from Dawar, the total death toll in the natural calamity has gone up to 17.
