India pays homage to Rajiv Gandhi

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi lead the nation in paying homage to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his 18th death anniversary on Thursday. Sonia Gandhi was among the first to arrive at the memorial of the charismatic leader, who was assassinated during an election campaign in Sriperumbadur in Tamil Nadu.
