India seeks better ties with Russia

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who is in Moscow for the 12th annual bilateral summit, has said that he looked forward to the growth of the vital partnership with Russia. The visit, scheduled to last till December 17, will see the two countries seeking to consolidate their positions on various issues of global importance, most notably ways and means to counter the global economic slowdown.
