India to withdraw some troops from restive Kashmir: Chidambaram

Home Minister P Chidambaram said India would withdraw a significant number of troops from Kashmir due to sharp fall in militancy in the restive Himalayan region. Meanwhile, Chidambaram also assured that the government would deal with swift and punitive action if faced with another Mumbai-type terror attack.
