Indian National Lok Dal returns to BJP

Eyeing next general elections, slated for 2009, Indian National Lok Dal, a regional party rejoined India's main opposition National Democratic Alliance-led by Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday. Chautala said that NDA was an alternative to Congress in the present circumstances. The INLD and BJP were allies until 2004 Lok Sabha polls and then parted ways.
