ISRO scientists geared up for maiden moon mission

Indian Space Research Organization's scientists are ready and geared up for the launch of a locally built rocket for the country's first unmanned mission to the moon. The launch was earlier scheduled for April but was delayed due to technical difficulties…. But now has been given a window between October 20 and October 28 for take off from ISRO spaceport at Sriharikota. It aims to map a three-dimensional atlas of the moon through high-resolution remote sensing.
