Italian foreign minister Giulio Terzi arrived in India on Tuesday and met Foreign Minister SM Krishna to tone down the mounting tension between the two nations over the killing of two Indian fishermen by Italian sailors.Earlier he also met Trade Minister Anand Sharma. Terzi was accompanied by the families of the Italian sailors, currently under the custody of Kerala police. India had said that the two seamen, Massimiliano Latorre and Salvatore Girone, killed the two Indian fishermen as they mistook them for pirates off the coast of Kerala, and wants to try them under Indian law.
