J&K to hand over Shopian case to CBI

Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to handover the controversial Shopian twin rape and murder case to the federal investigative agency, officials said on Wednesday. Provincial finance minister Abdul Rahim Rather said the government decided to refer the matter to the Central Bureau of Investigation as the role of the police had come under a cloud.
