Jammu and Kashmir schools to remain open in winters

Jammu and Kashmir Government has decided to keep schools open during the winter season. Earlier schools in valley used to remain closed for four months for the winter vacations. But the state government has decided to scarp the holydays to cover up lingering syllabus, left due to continuous strikes and shutdowns. Teachers as well as administration feel the step would benefit the students.
