JD (U) sceptic of its alliance with BJP

Key ally, the Janata Dal (United) on Tuesday said that its alliance with the BJP was highly unlikely amid rift within the party that came in the forefront after the resignation of veteran leader, LK Advani. Advani resigned on Monday from all party positions, a day after the selection of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the head of its election campaign.
