Kapil Sibal justifies police crackdown, says Baba betrayed the govt

Union Minister Kapil Sibal today justified the police crackdown against Baba Ramdev.The minister accused that the Baba went ahead with the strike even after giving an assurance to the government in the Friday meeting that he would withdraw his fast Saturday afternoon.The Minster alleged that Ramdev was trying to fulfill his political agenda in the guise of a meditation camp. Sibal dismissed allegations that there were cracks in the Congress party over the issue and said both the Congress and government were taken into full confidence before this crackdown.
