Karnataka HC to decide fate of rebel MLAs

The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday resumed hearing on the petition challenging the disqualification of 16 MLAs by Speaker KG Bopaiah. Meanwhile Karnataka governor HR Bhardwaj has reportedly written to the chief minister BS Yeddyurappa and asked him to prove majority once again on the floor of the house on October 14 as the trust vote was improper. In the meantime the setting of the drama has shifted to New Delhi as Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa is arriving in the national capital on Tuesday with his supporting MLAs to meet the President in a bid to prove that he commands majority.
